Ingredients to be Used in Cooking:
Definitely; you
will need all following ingredients to make this delicious and tasty chicken
malai handi comfortably.
Marinate Process:
i-Chicken boneless
1/2 Kg
ii-White Cumin powder
1/2 Tsp
iii-Salt 1/2 Tsp
(up to taste)
iv-White pepper
powder 1/2 Tsp
v-Yogurt 3-4 TBS
vi-Lemon Juice 1
TBS
vii-Ginger-Garlic
Paste 2 TBS
viii-Milk Cream
1.5 TBS
Mix all these ingredients in a big bowl and add washed and dried chicken boneless pieces in this marinate mixture and stir it very well. Now, aside this mixture for 1-2 hours and go ahead to prepare gravy of this dish.
Gravy Ingredients:i) Cashew Nuts
soaked 10-12
ii) Poppy seeds
(Khashkhash) 1 TBS
iii) Capsicum
Cubes (Shimla Mirch) 1/2 Cup
iv) Onion Cubes
1/2 Cup
v) Green
Cardamom 3
vi) Cloves 2
vii) Grinded
Onion and green chili paste
viii) Salt 1/2
Tsp
ix) Black pepper
powder 1/2 Tsp
x) White pepper
powder 1/2 Tsp
xi) Fresh Milk
Cream 3 TBS
xii) Yogurt 2
TBS
xiii) Qasoori
Methi 1/2 TBS
xiv) Cumin Seed
Powder 1/2 Tsp
xv) Cooking Oil
2 TBS
xvi) Butter 1 inch piece
Prominent Steps to Cook:Initially; you
have to grill the marinated stuff and prepare the chicken pieces for final
recipe.
1) Place a grill
pan on medium flame and add 1 TBS of
cooking oil and let it warm
2) Add marinated
material in this pan and keep flame low to medium and keep changing sides of
chicken after a few seconds
3) Keep cooking
the chicken until it gets tendered and turns into golden
4) Check
tenderness of chicken pieces and dish out in a big plate
5) Now, add
onion and shimla mirch cubes in same grill pan and fry until they get soften
and half cooked.
Preparation of Gravy and Final Recipe:
I-Put a clay pot
on the flame and add 2 TBS cooking oil and let it fully warm and now add 2
cloves and 3 green cardamoms
II-Add mixture
of grinded cashews, onion, green chili and ginger-garlic paste
III-Cook all
these ingredients for 3-4 minutes continuously and turn it into brownish color
IV-Now, add grilled
chicken pieces and fried onion and shimal mirch cubes
V-Keep stir the
mixture well and add 1 TBS cooking oil if needed
VI-Add 3 TBS of
milk on low flame and cook well for next 3 to 4 minutes
VII-Add cumin
seed powder, salt and white paper powder
VIII-Now, add yogurt
and cream and cook for a couple of minutes
IX-Add black
pepper powder and stir it well
X-Now, add
qasoori methi in this recipe and cover with lid to simmer for 2-3 minutes and
turn off the flame.
XI-You have to dish out this recipe in a clay pot or plate to serve your guests.
Servings: This chicken malai handi is ready for serving with Roti or Naan, while it is enough for 3-4 people.
