Recipe Foreword:
It is a very
tasty and tikka flavored chicken karahi recipe that gets attention of food
lovers across the world. This is earning fame and attention in Indo-Pak
sub-content as the people of this region always like to have such kinds of
tasty and unique recipes. It is very friendly and time-efficient for people to
make this dish at home with authentic taste and flavor.
Required Ingredients for This Dish:
You have to
classify all ingredients in 2 general parts; for marinating chicken and to
prepare gravy. So, you must follow both A & B sections to arrange for the key
ingredients of this dish.
A) Ingredients to Marinate Chicken Tikka:
You should
marinate chicken chest cubes with following necessary and big ingredients in
told quantity or ratio for maintaining he taste.
1-Chicken Chest Big
Cubes (Boneless) 500 gm
2-Lemon Juice 2
TBS
3-Cooking Oil 1
TBS
4-Thick Yogurt 3
TBS
5-Ginger-Garlic
Paste 2 TBS
6-Salt 1/2 Tsp
or as required
7-Turmeric
powder 1/4 Tsp
8-Red chili
powder 1/2 Tsp
9-Cumi powder 1
Tsp
10-Red chili flakes 1/2 Tsp
B) Ingredients for Gravy Preparation:Now, it is time
to prepare gravy for this wonderful and famous chicken recipe. Required ingredients for
the gravy will be.
1-Chopped onion
1 medium sized
2-Ginger-Garlic
paste 1 TBS
3-Meshed Tomatoes
2
4-Red chili
powder 1/2 Tsp
5-Turmeric
powder 1/4 Tsp
6-Salt 1/2 Tsp
or as per taste
7-Cumin powder 1
Tsp
8-Coriander
powder 2 Tsp
9-Tetra pack
milk cream 3 TBS
10-All mixed
spices 1 Tsp
11-Black pepper
powder 1/4 Tsp
Cooking Steps and Directions:
It is significant for you to marinate chicken cubes first and then go ahead for making gravy to prepare this unique chicken karahi.
1) Marinate Chicken Chest Cubes (Tikka):i) Wash and dry
chicken chest cubes and put in a medium sized bowl
ii) Add lemon
juice, ginger-garlic paste, cooking oil, yogurt, cumin powder, turmeric powder,
red chili powder, salt and red chili flakes in suggested quantities
iii) Whisk all
spices completely and continuously to get a uniform mixture
iv) Add chicken
cubes and mix them properly and very well
v) Keep aside
this marinated chicken for 1 hours
vi) Take a cup
of oil in a cooking pan, put it on the medium flame and let it warm
vii) Keep adding
marinated chicken cubes in hot oil and fry it for 8 minutes
viii) Change
sides of chicken cubes after 1 minutes and keep changing their sides
ix) Fry these
chicken cubes for 8 minutes and turn off the flame
x) Remove oil in another pan and turn on flame, while place fried chicken cubes in a dish
2) Preparing the Chicken Gravy:i) When oil gets
warmed, then add chopped onion and fry for making it golden brown
ii) Add
ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2-3 minutes
iii) Now, add tomato
paste and fry for 2 minutes
iv) Keep adding
all spices like red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, cumin powder and
coriander powder and cook for 3-4 minutes
v) After frying
it, add fried chicken tikka and cook it again regularly and gently
vi) Add half cup
of water and cover pan with lid and cook it for 4-5 minutes
vii) Remove lid,
reduce flame and add tetra pack cream and cook for 2 minutes
viii) It is time to add black pepper powder and all mixed
spices and keep cooking for a while.
ix) Turn off the flame and dish out ready recipe for serving.
