Chicken Fry Karahi- An Interesting Method to Cook This Amazing and Tasty Dish

i) Chicken (with bones) 1 Kg

ii) Thick yogurt 125 gm

iii) Medium sized onion 1

iv) Lemon Juice 1 TBS

v) Mashed Tomatoes 2

vi) Green chili 8-10

vii) Julian cut Ginger 1 TBS

viii) Ginger-Garlic paste 2 TBS

ix) Red chili flakes 1 Tsp

x) Cumin powder 1 Tsp

xi) Coriander powder 1 Tsp

xii) Crushed black pepper 1 Tsp

xiii) Salt 1 Tsp or as per taste

xiv) National Karahi Spice 1 Sachet

xv) Ghee/Cooking Oil 1 Cup

Cooking Directions & Steps:

Important steps and directions to prepare this Fry Chicken Karahi recipe are;

1-Take a big cooking pan, put it on stove, add 1 cup cooking oil and turn on flame

2-Keep the flame medium and let oil warm

3-Add washed and dried chicken pieces in hot oil and increase flame to high for frying the chicken deeply for 7-8 minutes

4-Try to stir gently and softly so that chicken pieces cannot get broken

5-Now, remove all chicken pieces into a dry plat and add onion in same oil to fry and make it light golden

6-Add ginger-garlic paste and fry it for 2-3 minutes to make it bit brownish

7-Add tomato paste and green chili for frying a little while

8-Now, add fried chicken in the cooking pan and cook it for 4-5 minutes gently

9-Start adding red chili flakes, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt and National Karahi Spice and cook it very well for few minutes

10-Reduce flame to low and add yogurt for cooking it until yogurt water gets completely dried

11-Now, add lemon juice and mix it well, while in next; you have to add black pepper powder and cook for 5 minutes again

12-Turn off flame, dish out the fry chicken karahi in a bowl and garnish with Julian cut green chili and ginger
