Ingredients You Require:

A-Ingredients for Chicken Kofta:

For making chicken kofta, you will require following ingredients and spices in mentioned quantity.

i) Chicken Mince 1 Kg

ii) Red chili powder 1 TBS

iii) Coriander powder 2 TBS

iv) Whole Mixed Spices 1 Tsp

v) Cumin seed powder 2 TBS

vi) Ginger-Garlic paste 2 Tsp

vii) Chopped Coriander leaves 1 TBS

viii) Salt as per taste

ix) Green chili 3-4 chopped

x) Turmeric powder 1/4 Tsp

xi) Red Chili flakes 1/2 Tsp

xii) Black pepper powder 1/2 Tsp

B-Ingredients for Chicken Kofta Gravy:

To prepare karahi gravy for chicken kofta; you have to manage for given spices and ingredients in suggested ratio or quantity.

i) Chopped tomatoes 3-4

ii) Medium sized onion chopped 3 (optional)

iii) Yogurt 1 cup

iv) Ginger-Garlic paste 2 TBS

v) Red chili powder 1.5 TBS

vi) Salt 1 Tsp  or up to taste

vii) Whole mixed spices 1 Tsp

viii) Turmeric powder 1/2 Tsp

ix) Chopped coriander leaves 2 TBS

x) Julian cutting ginger 1 TBS

xi) Green chili slices 2-3

xii) Black Pepper powder 1/2 Tsp

Now, process for making Chicken Kofta Karahi; there are two steps for you. Initially; you have to make and fry chicken kofta and put them in a dish. Secondly; you have to go for preparing karahi gravy to finish this recipe successfully.

1) Making & Frying Chicken Kofta:

Follow given steps and directions to make chicken kofta and then fry completely.

i-Take a big bowl, add chicken mince, red chili powder, coriander powder, whole mixed spices, cumin seed powder, chopped coriander leaves, salt, green chili, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, black pepper powder and red chili flakes

ii-Whisk all spices and ingredients extremely well with chicken mince and make them uniform in look

iii-Cover the bowl with a plastic sheet or paper and put in fridge for 2-3 hours

iv-Now, make your hands wet and take a ball of mince and make it completely round like a tennis bowl

v-Keep the size  of a mince ball as per your desire or requirement

vi-Make all mince ball and then put them on a sheet in a tray  or dish

vii-Place a frying pan on flame and add 1-2 cup cooking oil and let it warm fully

viii-Keep placing chicken mince balls (Kofta) in hot oil and fry them for 7-8 minutes

ix-Keep changing sides of mince balls and turn them little brown

x-Place all fried mince balls in a dry dish and go ahead to prepare gravy for Chicken Kofta Karahi

2) Preparing Chicken Kofta Gravy:

These steps are very simple and friendly to be executed. You should concentrate on each step for making gravy.

i-Put a big cooking pan on flame and add cooking oil and warm it

ii-Add chopped onion and fry it for 5-6 minutes and soften

iii-Now, add tomatoes and add 1/2 cup of water and simmer for 6-8 minutes

iv-Remove the cover, add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2-3 minutes

v-Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, green chili and mix well

vi-Now, add yogurt and cook for 3-4 minutes until water  of yogurt gets dried

vii-Add all mince balls (Chicken Kofta) in this gravy and stir carefully

viii-Cover the pan again for 4-5 minutes on medium to low flame

ix-Remove the lid and add black pepper powder

x-Dish out this Chicken Kofta Karahi in a serving bowl and garnish with chopped coriander leaves and Julian cutting ginger
