What is Chicken Boneless Handi?

This is a very special chicken recipe that is completely cooked in a clay pot (Mitti ki Handi) with natural spices and a mouthwatering taste. It is quite alike with other chicken recipes, but its taste is 100% unique and unbeatable.

Clay Pot

Boneless Chicken 2 Kg

Cooking Oil 1/2 Kg

Salt

Ginger

Garlic

Tomatoes 1/2 kg

Turmeric Powder 1/2 tea spoon

Red Chili Powder 1 Tbs

White Pepper 1 Tbs

Coriander Powder 1.5 Tbs

Cumin Powder 1 Tbs

Black Pepper Powder 1/2 Tbs

Qasoori Methi 1.5 Tbs

Milk Cream 250-300 Grams

Friendly Instructions to Cook It:

Key instructions to cook Chicken Boneless Handi are;

Ø  Wash chicken properly in sufficient water without rubbing

Ø  Take a big enough clay pot and put it on the stove

Ø  Insert 1/2 kg cooking oil in clay pot and let it warm

Ø  Place washed and dried boneless chicken in hot oil

Ø  Fry boneless chicken gently for at least 5 to 7 minutes

Ø  Add 4 Tbs of ginger and garlic paste and stir the whole mixture well, but gently

Ø  Add 1 Tbs of salt or as per taste

Ø  Place 1/2 kg half sliced tomatoes in the pot and cover it for 10 minutes on medium flame

Ø  Remove skin of tomatoes

Ø  Add 1/2 Tbs Turmeric powder

Ø  Add 1 Tbs of red chili powder

Ø  Add 1 Tbs of White pepper powder

Ø  Add 1.5 Tbs of dry coriander powder

Ø  Add 1 Tabs of cumin powder

Ø  Add 1/2 Tbs of black pepper powder

Ø  Add 1.5 Tbs of Qasoori Methi

Ø  Now cook this recipe for 6 to 7 minutes well by stirring properly

Ø  Add 250 to 300 Grams of fresh cream and mix it well gently and cook it 3 to 4 minutes


   Finally shut off flame and garnish the recipe with Julian styled sliced ginger, fresh coriander and green chili

Ø  Place a medium piece of butter on the dish to improve the taste.

Servings:

Chicken Boneless Handi is ready to serve your guests with Naan, Roti or Chapati and this prepared recipe is enough for 10 to 12 people.
